The Betty Lou Mysteries

About the Book

It’s 1957, and ten year old budding detective Betty Lou Cockram is trying to salvage her Saturday morning. She and her two best animal friends Elizardbeth and Pedro were supposed to be meeting her best human friends Denny and Butch. The five of them have worked together to solve several small cases around town during this school year and they're all excited to finally make things official and form a real agency. The problem? Betty forgot all about her big sister Susie's birthday. She's tried and failed to come up with a good excuse to miss Susie’s party and is dragging her feet toward home when a scream and a collision with a schoolmate land her in the middle of a case bigger than she could have ever imagined. Can Betty and her friends save a missing four year old from a sinister fate and make it home before curfew? Or will another victim be claimed by the howl of the rougarou?
